Only Some Minor Changes Coming to Transit Next Month

With September coming, it's that incredible time of year when it seems like everything gets back to normal. "Normal" is relative in the case of Guelph Transit though, because September is usually the time for some schedule or route changes, and this September is no exception.

The LCBO, and its legal post subsidiary the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS), announced Wednesday where four of the government pot shops will open this summer. Appropriately enough, the Royal City's OCS will open nestled near a number of snack-friendly locations in the plaza across from, appropriately enough, Stone Road Mall.

And so we're reminded of this again today with the Government of Ontario's announcement that they are partnering with Nestlé to support new jobs, and to keep old ones, up the road in London, Ontario.

Never Mind the Smell, the Air is Fine

If you live in the south end of the city, and the air smells vaguely like "dill pickles and burnt plastic" (as one person on Facebook describe it), the good news is that you're in no danger. The bad news is you might have to live with aroma for a couple of days.
