Upcoming "Beyond the Ballot Box" Specials for the Holidays

As per usual with the end of the year, the Gang of Four and Beyond the Ballot Box will be doing some special episodes for the last few weeks of 2013.
First, coming up on this Thursday's show, we'll be doing a special year end version of the "The Guelph Hour" following a regular edition of the Gang of Four. Councillor Cam Guthrie will be our special guest star, and he'll join us to talk about the recent budget deliberations and other goings on at city hall, as well as looking ahead to 2014. For the rest of the hour, we'll look at the year that was, and what local issues are currently making waves.
Next week, on the Boxing Day edition of the Gang of Four, we'll be producing a companion piece to last year's Christmas Special "The Best Political Songs" called "The Worst Political Songs." The gang will choose their favourite bad political songs and those selections will be played throughout the show.
On January 2nd, the Gang will be back live-to-air for the Year-End Awards show where we'll hand out prizes for Politician of the Year, the Mixed Feelings Award, the Dumpster Fire Award and the Worst Politician of the Year.
That sounds like good radio for the next three weeks, doesn't it? Tune in Thursday at 5 pm on CFRU 93.3 fm or online at cfru.ca, starting this Thursday.
*UPDATE (AGAIN): It turns out that Cam Guthrie will be unable to join us for Thursday's show. Instead we'll be joined by Downtown merchant and window display provocateur Ray Mitchell.
