This is a story about Jennifer Waterston. Who's Jennifer Waterston? Well, she's the first person to put her name down on the ballot for the Upper Grand District School Board, running for one of two seats for Wards 2, 3 and 4.
Other than that, and the addition of Ward 6 Councillor Christine Billings to the ballot, it's been pretty quiet this August. Usually after I say that though, things change, and a bunch of people start crowding the ballot. Still, time is running out. Nominations close on September 10th.
