Kingsley Coming to Guelph Too

Last week, you might have read about how Jean-Pierre Kingsley, former chief electoral officer of Elections Canada, will be at the Kitchener Library next Wednesday to talk about electoral reform. Well, if you don't want to drive 30 minutes up the road, good news! Kingsley will be in Guelph, one day earlier.

FairVote Guelph, with the University of Guelph Political Science Department, will hold a town hall with Kingsley on Tuesday September 27, at 7:30 pm at War Memorial Hall on the U of G campus. Following up on last week's town hall with Guelph MP Lloyd Longfield and Parliamentary Secretary for the Minister of Democratic Institutions Mark Holland, Kingsley will bring his considerable knowledge of the electoral system to answer any and all questions about reform. Yvonne Su, co-founder of Vote Mob and Vote Savvy, will moderate.
For more information, go to Fair Vote's website, email guelph@fairvote.ca, or find them on Facebook.
