Hyperbole Alert

A little off the wall, don't you think? This was the cover of today's Toronto Sun. All that's missing is the AC/DC soundtrack. It's worth pointing out that the closest thing that Tim Hudak got to an endorsement from the Sun was a column by Peter Worthington, and even he said things like Hudak's point that he could cut government spending by reducing the number of public employees and giving other pay cuts "seemed more rhetoric than substantial," and said that Hudak's assertion that he wouldn't pushed around by minority or human rights groups "verged on the naïve." Still, no matter how you feel about Dalton McGuinty, I don't think this was the reaction you're thinking of.
