I saw a poster this evening advertising a You Tube video called "Introduction to Guelph." Understandably curious, a decided to click on the link when I got home to see what all the hype was about, and discovered what was a fairly pleasant and kind of heart-warming tribute to the Royal City.
The below video by Viktor Gazo reminded me again of what a great place Guelph is, which is sometimes difficult to appreciate in the morass of the online debate about government spending and who's an extreme partisan. The most popular post on this site was one entitle "50 Reasons to Be Pretty Damn Euphoric You Live in Guelph," and I think the same passion and inspiration that people found in that post can be found in Viktor's video.
I think there are a lot of people who think Guelph is a "bedroom community," or is becoming a bedroom community, or might think that it should be, but it's nice to see that there are a lot people who are enthusiastic about Guelph being just a community. One full of a lot of potential and exciting possibilities.
