City Accepting Public Art Applications

Guelph has some great public art and if you have idea as to how you'd like to add to that incredible collection, then now's your chance. The city is looking for applications to the Public Art Committee and the deadline is coming up fast. If you're interested at all, then you're encourage to get your act together and put together your proposal before the deadline, which is July 5.

Guelph, On, June 12, 2013 – The City of Guelph Public Art Committee is accepting applications until July 5 for its Public Art Selection Roster.
The Roster will include the names of artists and other community arts or design professionals eligible to serve on the City’s Public Art Selection panels.
Each public art project requires a panel of qualified members to recommend works of art and/or artists.
These panels, as identified in the Public Art Policy, ensure that the selection of artworks commissioned through the City’s Public Art Program is a fair and transparent process guided by impartial arts professionals and community members.
