The Guelph Civic League started about seven years ago with a goal of increasing civic engagement. There have been a lot changes in the organization in that time, and the last couple of months have been no exception, but it's now time to break for a celebration.
The Guelph Civic League is having a launch party and community mixed on September 23rd from 7 to 8:30 pm on the third floor of 10 Carden Street. Not only will the average Guelphite get a change to mingle and hobnob with the new League and it's contributors, but it will also feature a talk from special guest Dave Meslin, an advocate for civic engagement and democratic renewal with 15 years experience.
